The site-specific installation by Geneviève Chevalier presented during the 2008 edition of Les Correspondances d'Eastman is part sculpture and part sound. Two flesh-like bells hang from the balcony in the rear part of the Saint-Edouard church in Eastman, Quebec. The sculptures appear to be in a conversation: in fact, a soundtrack made up of poetry and fiction read by Fredric Gary Comeau, Tristan Malavoy and Lili Maxime and sounds mimicking the bell's melody inside a church. The excerpts all focus on encounters, seduction and desire.
